It's hard to be amazed by anything you see online, when you know any teenager with a computer and a pirated copy of Photoshop can cobble together a fake photograph in minutes. Unfortunately this means there's a whole bunch of jaw-dropping pics that the internet declared "FAKE!" the moment they appeared. But as it turns out, some of the most baffling of them are, in fact, real.

New York, I have been thinking about forming a list of who I think is the best social media bloggers on the web. Now to those that are excluded, don’t be offended as I only included those bloggers who published purely social media content. Additionally I dropped any all the majors because they turn over too much content and quite often there is lots of junk in-between the good content.

Google Earth is set to add a cool-sounding new feature, the ability to view undersea landscapes.
Apparently viewers will be able to check out the habitats of threatened underwater species by viewing video streams, photos and stories from marine protected areas all over the world. -

How to get your photo in Zemanta?

Essentially there are three sources you can try to get images into: Getty Images Wikimedia Commons (that includes English Wikipedia) Flickr - Creative Commons licensed Since it’s unlikely that you’re photos will get into Getty Images, unless you are professional news photographer, we’ll focus on second two options. Image via Wikipedia Uploading into Wikimedia Commons is relatively easy. You just have to to register on site and follow their their instructions. They’re always looking for good photographs that are as license free as possible for inclusion into Wikipedia articles and other uses around the web. Make sure that you provide a good and keyword heavy description of your image, so that the editors and also Zemanta can then find your image in connection with different displayed concepts.
Other alternative is to upload images to Flickr using Creative Commons license. Here approach is similar, get a Flickr account and start uploading well tagged images with longs descriptions and good titles. What you want to do is to just write tags for each image for a few minutes, and also allow other users to tag you images.

Ljubljano je obiskal Elliot Jay Stocks, človek, ki sem ga spoznal v Miamiju (FOWA), kjer je bil del skupine organizatorjev Carsonified. Spominjam se, da sva se zapletla v pogovor in takrat seveda nisem vedel, da je to oseba, katere dizajne občudujem že kar nekaj časa - do trenutka, ko sva si izmenjala vizitke.Njegov blog spremljam vsaj od začetka leta 2007, ko je bil objavljen na strani CSS Beauty in kasneje proglašen za enega najlepših dizajnov tistega leta. V svoji karieri je kot oblikovalec sodeloval na mnogih projektih, kot npr. z agencijami kot so Carsonified inBlue Flavor ter delal za največjo angleško glasbeno založbo EMI (Ray Charles, Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, ...) Njegov celotni portfolio najdete na tej povezavi.
Z Elliotom sva obdržala stike oz. twitte in kmalu po tem, ko se je odločil za samostojno kariero oblikovalca in govorca, se je porodila ideja, da bi prišel tudi v Slovenijo, deželo nad katero je navdušen že od prvega zasebnega obiska tukaj. Seveda je v akcijo stopil Marko in omogočil da bo danes ob 19h v Kiberbipi imel predavanje s pomenljivim naslovom "Close Your Browser - Finding Inspiration In The Offline World". Vsi vljudno vabljeni!
