About Me

I am the cofounder and CTO of Noovo, since 2008 my next step from the professional internet services company where I previously served as the CTO and a managing partner, developed most of its clients, among them car makers, a network equipment manufacturer, four large insurance companies, a bank, four largest mobile operators, a political party, a lottery and an airline company. I was either the creative guy who delivered the communications strategy or the architect of the technical solution, often both. One of the hallmarks of that period was our proprietary software platform, featured on the JavaOne 2004 conference. It still runs most of company’s solutions. During that time we established an office in Tokyo and worked for some important clients on that market.

My entrepreneurial ventures sprang at the end of my studies, during which I learned dirty politics and management as the Minister for Media and Publishing in the student government, megalomanical design as a developer in the IT lab ran by a crazy genius professor, and innovative bootstrapping, leadership and drinking as the Technical Editor and Editor for Economy of an intellectual magazine that I co-founded.

Although I grew up in Bled, I spent most of my life in Ljubljana with Mateja and Kasha. Now I'm based in Palo Alto, CA.
