    It’s clear that display advertising, despite a lack of clicks, can have a significant positive impact on:

    • Visitation to the advertiser’s Web site (lift of at least 46% over a four week period)
    • The likelihood of consumers conducting a search query using the advertiser’s branded terms (a lift of at least 38% over a four week period)
    • Consumers’ likelihood of buying the advertised brand online (an average 27% lift in online sales) 
    • Consumers’ likelihood of buying at the advertiser’s retail store (an average lift of 17%)

    Googlov vodnik za optimizacijo spletnega mesta je namenjen vsem, ki spoznavajo optimizacijo in iskalne mehanizme z namenom izboljšanja uporabnost spletnih mest tako za uporabnike kot boljše pozicije v iskalnikih.

    Pokrita so predvsem področja vsebinske in tehnične optimizacije, kot so:
    • meta oznake
    • struktura URLjev
    • struktura strani
    • indeksiranje (sitemaps.xml, robots.txt)
    • priporočila uporabe html oznak (h1, h2, .. alt,)
    • optimizacija besedila povezav (anchor txt, nofollow)

    Koristno za razvijalce, kot naročnike. Poznavalci pa verjetno ne boste zvedli veliko novega, se mi zdi pa dokument koristen, saj ga lahko razumemo tudi kot poskus standardizacije osnovnih praks optimizacije, ki dosedaj s strani iskalnikov niso bile tako nazorno in strnjeno podane. Tako bo mogoče lažje presekati kakšno od brezpredmetnih razprav na temo optimizacije, ki se včasih vname zaradi različnih pogledov, ki pa jih bo sedaj lažje postaviti v kontekst.

    Občasno se znajdem v vlogi ko pomagam podjetju razmišljati o pisanju korporativnega bloga. Po navdušenju ob predstavitvi prednosti blog marketinga se hitro pojavijo konkretna vprašanja in ideje, kako bi se v podjetju tega lotili in kaj bi jim mi z interaktivne agencije nudili.

    Ker so ta vprašanja in ideje ponavadi precej podobne, sem sestavil vprašalnik, ki je lahko vašemu podjetju, ali vam, ki se znajdete v podobni situaciji, v pomoč pri iskanju odgovora o primernosti podjetja za pisanje korporativnega bloga.
